We, along with much of Virginia, got pounded with lots and lots of snow* this weekend. 16 inches by our estimates. Snow began to fall Friday afternoon around 3:30 and it didn't stop until Saturday mid-afternoon. We bundled up and trekked outside to play in the white stuff. Brian pulled me in the sled to pack down the snow to make a track for the boys. There were many snowballs flying, shovels shoveling, and two very snowed in vehicles to be unearthed. We couldn't even see the tires of my van. I didn't get any pictures Saturday, but Sunday was a different story.

Sunday, we made a snowman, went sledding in the yard, and had a huge snowball fight. It was so much fun...

And with no significant warming in sight, I think we'll get to enjoy the white stuff for a few more days! They're even calling for a bit of snow on Christmas. We'll see about that...
