Garrett must really be enjoying school. When he got in the car this afternoon he said, "Mom, I want to give Miss Stanley some food or something." I asked what he had in mind. He told me, "You know, butter or something like that." Then he said, "Or maybe we could get her a dress. She likes to wear dresses." I asked why he wanted to give Miss Stanley butter or a dress or something, and he said, "Because I want her to know she is my favorite teacher." When we got home, Garrett went to my closet and said,"maybe we can give Miss Stanley one of your dresses. You do have a lot of dresses. That would be nice." What a generous kid he is!
I think we will definitely give Miss Stanley something, maybe not butter or a dress, but something!
